Children's Hypnotherapy Course

The demand for children's hypnotherapy has never been higher, as children increasingly face complex challenges. Children’s hypnosis and hypnotherapy are gaining recognition as holistic approaches for addressing anxiety, confidence, sleep, and emotional challenges. The KidsMatters® children's hypnosis training has been helping hypnotherapists meet the needs of children for over ten years.
You’ll learn to use children’s hypnosis and advanced hypnotherapy techniques—plus accessible, practical applications of CBT and NLP—to support young clients. The course breaks down sometimes complex approaches into easy-to-implement strategies, guiding you to work confidently and ethically with children and their parents. Through child-friendly protocols, you’ll empower children to achieve positive change and lasting wellbeing.

Children's Hypnotherapy Training
It’s very easy to think of children as being “little adults” when it comes to hypnosis, but nothing could be further from the truth. As a mum of two, when I started working with kids I assumed I could easily adapt the hypnotherapy approach I was using with adults. But it didn’t land correctly, because I didn’t understand just how different working with children was.
I developed KidsMatters®, which contains clear, easily applied protocols, to initially ensure I was working effectively with children and have been sharing this knowledge with KidsMatters® practitioners for over ten years.
Kids are highly imaginative, and we need to learn how to work with their often rapidly changing state of flow. It’s also imperative, if you’re planning to work in the field of children’s hypnotherapy, that you understand how to work with their parents, and sometimes schools. Working with kids means working as part of a team.
If you’d like to work in this exciting, increasingly in-demand area, training as a KidsMatters® practitioner will give you everything you need to confidently work with clients from as young as five up to their teenage years.
