What this hypnotherapy course is...

This is a GHSC accredited course which is externally verified as a Level 4 training course. External verification means it meets core curriculum requirements which are agreed on at a national level. This is important if you want to achieve a nationally (and internationally) recognised hypnotherapy qualification.

Your hypnotherapy course is designed and delivered by Dr. Claire Jack, who brings her academic background to the Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Claire is renowned as an expert in her field and is the founder of respected advancd hypnotherapeutic approaches including HypnoIBS® and HypnoMenopause®.

What this hypnotherapy course is not...

This isn't a cheap or quick answer to training as a hypnotherapist.

Cheap generally means that corners are cut, so although it's tempting to choose a course based on cost, if you're really serious about training as a hypnotherapist it's important not to make this your sole consideration.

AIM's Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy focuses on small sizes, student care, and quality teaching from Claire and invited guest lecturers.

The course takes place over 10 months, which allows you time to practice your skills with fellow students and volunteers so that you are fully equipped and qualified to work confidently and ethically with your hypnotherapy clients.

Hypnotherapy scripts and resources

Choosing the right hypnotherapy training isn't a decision to take lightly. Training to be a hypnotherapist takes commitment and requires a financial, emotional and time investment. It's important to do a fully externally accredited course that is validated as a Level 4 Training course. If you don't look for this, your trainer can decide that what they offer is "fine" - without meeting national requirements in terms of course quality. The types of courses that are not externally validated as Level 4 courses in the UK are often shorter and don't require assignments. Whilst this might be tempting, if you want to feel confident working with clients, attract clients who are looking for fully qualified hypnotherapists and have the ethical grounding to establish a successful business, you want to ensure you have trained to the highest level possible. In the UK this means doing a course which is GHSC Validated at Pactitioner Level (this is exactly the same level as the HPD).

It's also important that you feel aligned to your trainer. Who are they? What's their background? What areas do they specialise in? Ask for a call so that you can discover whether they feel like a fit for you.

And what does the course offer over and above basic teaching? Is there the capacity to study further through CPD? Is there the option of advanced training? Do they provide business start-up support (this is one of the most important things to look for in a course).

I've provided a list of questions and answers to help you decide whether this is the right hypnotherapy course for you and I'm always on hand to have a call. You'll never get a "sales" call, and I talk to all prospective students personally, so please get in touch if there's anything you'd like to know. I want this to feel like the right decision for you.
