Advanced hypnotherapy skills in helping clients with depression

This course is designed for qualified hypnotherapists who want to build confidence and clinical competence when supporting clients experiencing low mood, emotional flatness, or mild depression. It provides clear structures and practical tools—starting from how to assess suitability for hypnotherapy using a tailored intake process, including tools such as the PHQ-9, through to knowing when and how to signpost or refer clients appropriately. You’ll gain a step-by-step understanding of how to support clients safely and ethically within your scope of practice.
The training integrates current neuroscience with a client-centred, relational approach. You’ll learn how to work with the nervous system to support emotional regulation and engagement, using strategies that help clients gradually reconnect with motivation, resilience, and a sense of self-direction.
NeuroMood integrates current neuroscience with ethical, client-centred hypnotherapy to support low mood safely and effectively. By understanding how the brain and nervous system respond to emotional flatness, disconnection, and dysregulation, you’ll learn how to apply hypnosis in ways that gently re-engage motivation, support regulation, and promote real, lasting change.
