Train as an outdoor therapist
Hypnosis Through Nature® takes your work outdoors in a way that is so much more than “outdoor therapy” or “walking and talking therapy”. You will learn to bring in a core hypnotherapeutic skill of utilisation to use meaning, sensations and symbolism of the landscape to transform your practice and transform your clients’ experience. You’ll learn how to work with both individuals and groups. Receive a bonus Therapy Through Nature (TTN®) Certification for situations when you’d prefer to apply a more counselling or coaching approach.
The benefits of outdoor therapy are strongly supported by research. This is one of the fastest growing areas in therapy and the number of people who have experienced outdoor therapy has almost doubled since before the pandemic. Outdoor therapy is strongly supported by evidence that shows being outdoors can impact people at a cellular level, improve immune system function, reduce stress and anxiety levels.
You have a choice of training options, including a live workshop and online-self-paced course. Both options include all clients materials, scripts, videos, logos & marketing materials.

Outdoor Therapy Training
Hypnosis Through Nature® and Therapy Through Nature®
Choice of live outdoor therapy workshop, or online, self-paced course. Includes optional assignments, feedback and support. Accredited Certification on completion.
This is so much more than usual “outdoor therapy” or “walking and talking” therapeutic approaches, as it specifically draws on utilisation and provides clear guidelines about how to use your usual hypnotherapeutic skills – including inductions, ego-strengthening and post-hypnotic suggestions – in outdoor settings.
Only students who have undertaken this training can use the trademarked titles Hypnosis Through Nature® and TTN® (Therapy Through Nature) which is essential in marketing your services to both individuals and groups.
The course provides everything you need to work outdoors as a hypnotherapist, but if there are times when you want to work more in a talking therapy or coaching way, you'll find guidance on that too. For this reason, in addition to the Hypnosis Through Nature® certification, you'll also be a qualifed Therapy Through Nature (TTN®) practitioner.

Client resources
Whether you are an experienced hypnotherapist, or work with women in a different way, you'll find all the client resources, including forms, handouts, scripts and recordings, to work effectively with your clients.
Optional assignments
You have a choice of working through the course material in your own time and, on completion of the course, contacting me to issue your certificate. Alternatively, if you wish to have further support, you are welcome to complete and submit assignments for marking.
Self-paced learning
You can complete this course at your own pace and are asked to submit your assignments within six months.
Free certificate in hypnotherapy
If hypnotherapy isn't your primary modality, you can access our Certificate in Hypnotherapy course free of charge. This course is designed to offer you an overview of hypnotherapy theory and techniques but it is not designed to qualify you as a hypnotherapist. If you wish to train as a fully qualified hypnotherapist, you are advised to complete a CNHC Accredited Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Online portal access
You will have access to an online learning portal for twelve months from purchase of your course. Written materials can be downloaded so that you have permanent access to them.
Business support
You will receive advice and support in marketing your services and images, text and logos to launch your Hypnosis Through Nature® service.
CPD hours
This course counts for 8 hours CPD and is suitable for GHR, NCH and other professional organisations. It is externally accredited by the ACCPH.
